While it is modest in size and features it is equally modest in price making this the perfect monitor for the avid Farmville player that feels like they need just a few more inches in order to make the game worth playing. It has a great picture and all, but it doesn't have a special laser that stuns burglars and annoying houseguests like the salesman said.

It works perfectly and it has very good quality!!! I would recomend this to anyone!

SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSD ( 240 GB ) Review and Specs

SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSD ( 240 GB )

Good overall performance

Good value

Low power consumption

SanDisk SSD Ultra Introduced earlier this year. The unit comes with a 240GB SandForce SF-1222 processors. This drive also uses its own NAND flash memory.

When first 240GB SSD Ultra somewhat mediocre, specification is not much different from any other vendor products using SandForce controller like OCZ or OWC. Any difference in performance is likely to lie in the fact this drive yourself using SanDisk's NAND flash memory and optimization of the processor / controller. Provide your current laptop or desktop a high-speed boost using the reliable SanDisk Extreme Solid State Drive (240 GB). This drive is an ideal option for gamers, video editors, and also other users of graphic-heavy applications. Because the drive does not have moving parts, this works silently. It is also rugged, designed to endure shocks and also vibration for reliability of the drive. The SanDisk Extreme SSD is really a cost-effective solution to upgrade your current personal computer, and it also consumes significantly less power than a 7,200 RPM hard drive to extend your current laptop battery's life.

SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSD ( 240 GB ) - back side

The SanDisk Ultra SSD includes a stamped metal case just like the Western Digital SiliconEdge Blue and Viking Modular Enterprise SSD, although in place of being bare silver it really is painted matte black. The case is really strong, in reality one of the strongest designs we have viewed, and adjusts to the 2.5-inch hard disk drive specification to fit in every tight-fitting 2.5-inch enclosures. Both equally sides have horizontally mounting points to get protecting the drive in a hard drive bay, as well as anchoring screws that hold the two case halves together. The bottom of this drive is pretty essential outside of the additional tray mounting slots as well as some screw threads visible that are used to hold the internal circuit board to the bottom half of the case. The front of the drive includes a standard SATA power and also data connection, without any visible support pins.

SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSD ( 240 GB ) - side

SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSD ( 240 GB ) - button

The SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSD 240GB is an excellent purchase. It provides an attractive mix of overall performance, capacity, as well as price which are all things people purchasing the SSD are looking for. Slightly over $400 street to get a 240GB drive is reasonable, although the price is within the higher side given the last-generation SandForce processor. In some of our bench-marks it really perform better the class-leading OCZ Vertex 3, but ultimately remained below SATA 6Gb/s-enabled types.

SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSD ( 240 GB ) - part

On the topic of performance, it is very unfortunate the SanDisk opted to use the older SATA 3.0Gb/s interface instead of the new SATA 6.0Gb/s standard. Our real world bench-marks specially showed it's likely a limiting factor in specific scenarios where maximum hard disk drive performance is required. Having said that, the drive still has more than affordable performance and is not slow in any respect.

Sandisk Ultra 240GB SSD Specs :

• Interface: SATA 3Gb/s Capacity: 240GB (60GB and 120GB also available)
• Processor: SandForce SF-1222 NAND
• Flash: 16x 16GB SanDisk 05070 016G, 124ddzogp pieces
• Max Sequential Read: 280MB/s
• Max Sequential Write: 270MB/s
• Power Active: 0.43W
• Weight: 96.4g
• Shock Resistant: 1500G @ 0.5 msec
• Vibration: 2.17gRMS, 5-700Hz
• TBW: 40, 80, and 128TB for 60, 120, and 240GB models respectively
• 2.5-inch drive, 9.5mm form factor

When it is all said and done we are able to give the SanDisk Ultra SSD 240GB our suggestion for an ideal mixture of performance, capacity, and cost. We're also enthusiastic to find out SanDisk in the client SSD space and can not wait to check out what comes next.
