AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition Processor Overview

AMD launched the CPU (processor) Quad-core they are the fastest in May 2011 precisely, dated 3 Mei2011. AMD's focus on the mainstream echoes to a certain extent its GPU strategyAMD focus on the mainstream Echoes to a GPU to perform certain extent its strategy: AMD Phenom II X4 980 is designed with 6MB L3 cache for all cores and personal L2s 512KB per core. This chip is built on 45nm process with Global Foundries die size of 258mm2, and approximately 758M transistors. To remain in the 125W TDP and the chip should work on all types of motherboards Socket AM3.

Phenom X4 II 980 has a 3.7GHz clock, which is the default clock speed of AMD fastest today, and as fast as AMD flagship hexa-core  Phenom II X6  1100T with Triple-core Turbo mode. Closest competitor is Intel Core processor i5 2400 that offers four core 3.1GHz default clock with 3.4GHz max turbo.

Samsung Announces New Quad-core Exynos ModAP, the first processor with Integrated LTE Modem

Samsung’s newest smart phone chip could be the company’s first Exynos processor in order to feature a built-in LTE-A modem. The new ModAP chip is the first Exynos SoC with an LTE modem built-in, and really should offer much more flexibility when it comes to Samsung’s processor brand. The ModAP is made upon 28nm HKMG architecture and The samsung company guarantees that it must be built to not just support LTE speeds (completely up to LTE-A standard), however all of those other high demands which come from today’s smartphones. A signal processor chip for cameras up to 8MP, and also support for an Exynos RF companion chip for improved connectivity. This means phones using new Samsung Exynos ModAP series chips will support 2G, 3G, and 4G mobile broadband and they also will not need a separate application processor.

Samsung Exynos ModAP Processor Chip
 Samsung Exynos ModAP Processor Chip
More reasonably, this could mean Samsung would not have to offer several versions of their phones in the future: the company’s last few flagship phones have featured Samsung Exynos ModAP processors in some markets, however Qualcomm chips (with integrated LTE) in some others.

All advised, the Exynos ModAP series chips will not be the most powerful processors Samsung offers at launch, however they could be some of the most versatile and they also could pave the way for upcoming chips with higher performance and built-in support for speedy mobile network connections.

Samsung hasn’t quite provided all of us the complete technical rundown from the ModAP chip as yet, but it should not become a long time before we finally have our hands on this. This remains to be seen if it is the chip that will power the upcoming Note 4 and other flag ships, or if it will be their own mid-range processor, leaving behind the heavy lifting to something different. Once we listen to much more from Samsung we will be able to figure all this out.

Quad-Core Processor @ 3.5 GHz

i7-3770K is new CPU season at Intel with the launch of the Ivy Bridge family of CPUs and the Intel Core i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor. It's the quickest of the new breed and therefore likely to be the fastest CPU in the real world.

Intel i7-3770K@3.5GHz Review :

Intel i7-3770K about 5-10% faster than the i7-2700K which it replaces. The current top-end "extreme" tier is and will remain the six core i7-3960X until the second half of 2013, when the Ivy Bridge-E is released. The GPU performance compared to the 2700K is about 50% faster.

At its official retail price, three hundred and thirty two dollars, it is currently one of the best values for a high performance chip in the market.

The i7-3770k is a fantastic processor! Out of the box (with no overclocking). The HD 4000 graphics are also great!, if you don't need serious graphics performance, this processor could save you money on a graphics card!. In truth, the new HD Graphics 4000 core is more of interest for laptop PCs that rely on integrated graphics. On the desktop we'd beg you to buy an add-in board.
Intel i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor
Intel i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor
The new Intel Core i7 3770K, at in terms of the CPU side of things, is largely the same design, but based on 22nm technology. Intel has also added support for dynamic frequency adjustment from the Windows desktop. That's handy, both for making overclocking easier and for allowing you to set clockspeeds based on application type.
Overall, this is one of the greatest processors available today (definitely the best performer on its socket type). Any processor which beats this one costs at least several hundred dollars more and doesn't gain nearly that much in extra performance. So, if you can handle the somewhat higher price than the i5-3570k, get this best of a CPU!!.

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition

We have been hearing a lot from AMD over the last few months regarding the slew of new processors and Fusion APUs slated to arrive next year. With all of the news regarding Zacate, Ontario, Bobcat, Bulldozer, and Llano, et al, that has hit recently, you’d think work on the current generation of products had ceased, but that is not the case. AMD is doing its best to tempt you with a shiny new hexacore CPU with today's release of the Phenom II X6 1100T, their new six-core flagship processor. In true AMD fashion, the company has priced its latest entry at a very reasonable $265. That's the same rate as the older Phenom II X6 1090T, which has been lowered to $230 to make room for the new 1100T model.

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Descriptions

Released last April, AMD's Phenom II X6 range has been surprisingly successful. It's not that they aren't worth purchasing, but they are somewhat overkill for the average user as most applications are only just beginning to take full advantage of quad-core processors and there are very few that can utilize more than four cores.

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition
The Phenom II X6 1090T was the only unlocked hexa-core processor in AMDs arsenal, as the 1055T and 1075T both feature fixed clock multipliers making them less effective overclockers. Pricing between these processors couldn't be any tighter with just $50 separating the 1055T and the 1090T Black Edition model

The AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition is based on the same Thuban core as previous Phenom II X6 processors and differs from the 1090T only in its clock speeds. As you can see in the specifications above, the Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition has a 3.3GHz “base” clock frequency with a peak Turbo Core frequency of 3.7GHz—the 1090T tops out at 3.2GHz / 3.6GHz. The chip, like other Phenom IIs, is manufactured on Global Foundries’ 45nm SOI process node and it is comprised of roughly 904 million transistors, with a die size of approximately 346mm2. Bandwidth across the various links to memory and the rest of the system remains unchanged from the 1090T, as does the max TDP of 125 watts.

For the most part, gaming with the Phenom II X6 will deliver the same experience as the Phenom II X4, making it somewhat of a pointless option for gamers. Additionally, the Phenom II X6 is designed for heavily-threaded workloads, so it would be a waste for people that use their computer for basic tasks compared to a chip with fewer, but more efficient cores.
