10.1-Inch Detachable 2 in 1 Touchscreen Laptop)

ASUS Transformer Book T100 features an extraordinary laptop experience, light and handy. With the Intel Atom quad Core processor in action, Windows 8.1 and all other programs move faster and more gracefully than you can imagine. ASUS engineers have created the most luxurious yet durable design ever. The beautiful surface concentric glossy features glossy circles that please the eye and invites the touch. The soft but durable rubber welcomes your grip and guarantees you will never want to put the ASUS Transformer Book T100 down. Excellence is never out of reach with the ASUS Transformer Book T100. The affordable ASUS Transformer Book T100 gives you the chance to create your own mobile laptop dynamic, so you never have to compromise again. Go where you want to go with the new ASUS Transformer Book T100. T100 would be better suited for a student as it has full Microsoft office and full windows which you can install regular programs.

The Screen is nice, not as bright or pixel dense as iPad but the extra functionality with Windows 8 is well worth the trade-off. Besides, didn't really notice a huge difference when watching Netflix or Hulu. The difference was only noticeable with text, but either way it is still a nice and perfectly adequate screen with nice viewing angles and pretty decent color. The keyboard dock perfectly designed 19 mm travel distance provides a comfortable typing experience unlike any other. This thing isn't too heavy but has a nice solid weight to it as well as the keyboard dock. The touchpad on the dock is a little erratic at times and doesn't feel great, but it works fine. The keyboard is a little small as well, but I'd still prefer it over always using the on-screen keyboard.

The ASUS Transformer Book T100 is the perfect device for everyone on the go. Enjoy the difference when using the pre-installed Microsoft Office & Student 2013. Enjoy games and music like never before, and increase your collection with easy access to the Windows Store and XBox Live. The device while plugged in, seemed to not be charging or doing so at a very poor pace, as others have mentioned. It was sluggish, webpages were loading very slowly in desktop mode and in the Modern IE app. The WiFi randomly cut out, and most of the modern apps (The Metro UI) would open for a second and then force close with no error message. However that this was not the case for some people.

The USB3.0 SuperSpeed Port transfers files with lightning fast speed. The WiFi was working fine, and the battery was definitely charging whether the screen was on or off. Also to address another review, the charging LED by the power button does go from orange to white when it is fully charged. While it may not be the fastest charging device, it charged a lot faster.

An astounding 11 hours of continuous web browsing keeps you connected longer and always in action. Nothing will slow you down ever again with the ASUS Transformer Book T100's incredible battery life. With the accelerated ASUS Instant On and Microsoft InstantGo technology, the ASUS Transformer Book T100 is always ready to perform when you are.

Obviously this won't replace your main computer unless you really only use it for web browsing, watching videos, and creating/editing documents (Comes with Office Home and Student for free..or at least bundled into the great price.)

Some Pros the ASUS Transformer Book T100TA-C1-GR :
  • Great screen! People online may gripe on the 720p display, but you'll never notice using it
  • Battery life: Took it off the charger 7am this morning, and been using it straight since browsing the internet, viewing several Youtube videos both on Flash and Metrotube app, reading PDFs with Bluetooth and Webcam on. Now at 4pm, and still have 40% on the tank! Definetly liberating from netbooks where under clocking underpowered devices was a necessity to get that battery life.
  • The Speakers! Very clear and very loud. definitely betrays their size.
  • FULL WINDOWS 8.1! This can't be said enough. Almost everyone who has bought a Netbook did so to get a full Windows experience in a relatively portable format.
  • This things a best for its size. Wanna watch a flash Youtube video while browsing the net on the same screen? No problem! Wanna do some photo editing while watching said video? No sweat! Everything is buttery smooth on Bay Trail.
  • Free Dock !!!!
  • MicroSD card slot: Format it so NTFS, and you have an additional 32-64GB Hard Drive, so space no longer becomes a big issue.

Striking shortage of ASUS Transformer Book T100TA-C1-GR :

The touchpad is pretty bad. However, there's a way to make it pretty decent :
  1. Realize that Asus put some stupid power saving feature to turn off the touchpad after 10 seconds or so. When you wana use it, just tap on it and use it. Small 6/10 second thing, but it makes it much more bearable.
  2. On the Desktop, double click "Asus Smart Gesture" on the bottom right where the Dock is (where you see your Battery indicator). Go to "Edge Gesture" and TURN THAT SHAITE OFF!!! Whoever thought that was a good idea in the first place should be fired! This thing already has the ability to do gestures with the touch screen. What's the point in adding all these unusable gestures to such a small touchpad? Leave it alone! The only gesture it needs is 2 finger scrolling.
  3. After that, go to Mouse Settings on the Control Panel and crank up both touch sensitivity and scrolling speed.

(NEWEST VERSION)
If you keep your computer for less than 3 years or so, then just buy the iMac and be done with it. But if you intend to keep the iMac for longer than that, consider the negative consequences of the iMac's all-in-one design. Great system will not go too far into a review since everything has already been said but we recommend that you upgrade the RAM when you buy it. And Don't forget, go into the App Store and claim your free update to 10.9 Mavericks. is one of the best computers available in its class. It is powerful, a workhorse if you will, and very well designed in terms of aesthetics and functionality.

Apple iMac ME088LL/A 27-Inch Desktop is super thin from the sides and light enough for one-handed portability if required. The external body is the same as the 2012 model, which in itself was significantly improved over the 2011 version. The front glass seems to sit more flush with the body compared to the earlier version which had a tiny little gap. The back is slightly curved at the center and I am guessing all the components are packed in this bulge at the center back. Has a super sleek look to it overall.

Perhaps the most pleasing aspect of this iMac is its screen. Apple claims this model has 75 percent less glare than previous versions - there's no way for me to measure this but suffice it to say that even with the screen turned off, the screen is not really reflective. Given the amount of real estate you get combined with the stunning LED-backlit display, it's a pleasure using the screen with its vibrant colors and low glare. Once it's turned on, the reflections die down even further. Images are crisp and pictures we have taken with our DSLR camera seem further enhanced given the resolution of the screen. No retina display for iMacs just yet, but this is feels very very close to it.

Apple iMac had already done away with the optical drive, which means that to read/burn CDs or DVDs, we can either connect an external drive like Apple's Superdrive to the USB port, or feed off another PC/Mac (this has to be on the same network) that has a built-in optical drive. On the back, there is a SDXC memory card slot, couple of Thunderbolt ports, headphone jack, USB ports, and an ethernet port. It's good they are at the back since they avoid cable clutter from the desk.

The Apple iMac ME088LL/A Desktop comes with a wireless keyboard and a magic mouse. The keyboard is a standard Apple keyboard. The Magic Mouse also lets you scroll down lengthy web pages without having to move to the side to grab the scroll bar. Just a swipe of the finger on the mouse moves the page down or up. It can also be configured to register right clicks. Somewhat similar in terms of functionality to the magic trackpad.

The all-in-one iMac features a beautiful 27-inch widescreen display. Fourth-generation quad-core Intel Core processors and super-fast NVIDIA graphics make it the most powerful iMac yet. And it comes standard with 8GB memory, a 1TB hard drive, and advanced, high-speed I/O, including two Thunderbolt ports and four USB 3 ports. All in an impossibly thin enclosure that’s only 5 mm at the edge.
