Unfortunately, the CPU and memory are not sufficient for Windows 8. I am continually getting "low memory" warnings even though I've only got a few applications running, and the computer has crashed a number of times

Short story: Acer Aspire One AO725-0487 11.6" Netbook is a great machine, but get it with Windows 7.

I would recommend this computer to a friend.
